February has been a very UK-centric month for Expensify so far. Last week, we officially launched our UK office, and this week we’re attending Xerocon London and hosting our UK launch event. We’ve been having a great time so far, meeting amazing Xero partners and Add-ons. While we’re revelling in the buzz of the Xero ecosystem, we’re really excited to announce our latest upgrade to our Xero integration. 

Our customers already use tracking categories and billable expenses in Expensify, and now we are proud to say that we also support tax sync with Xero! This improvement will benefit our users across the globe, and will help improve the accuracy and efficiency of complying with local tax requirements.

Here’s how it works: simply enable tax sync in your Xero configuration and we’ll automatically import your taxes from Xero into Expensify. You and your employees apply the appropriate tax to each expense, which will then be exported to Xero with all the necessary tax data.
