Here at Expensify, we’re big fans of Xero. Since 2013, our direct Xero integration has helped simplify expense and receipt management for thousands of Xero users across the world. Today, we are very pleased to announce a major upgrade to this integration today.
With Expensify’s V2 Xero integration, users can now:
- Import tracking categories from Xero and map them as Tags, Report Fields, or even to the defaults for all Xero contacts
- Set expenses marked as Billable to automatically create Sales Invoices in Xero
- Export reimbursable expenses in Expensify to Xero as Purchase Bills, which can be set to Draft, Awaiting Approval, or Awaiting Payment status in Xero
- Export non-reimbursable expenses in Expensify directly to a Xero bank account, one line item per expense
