A Big Thank You for 2014, Here’s to 2015!

It’s no secret that since we opened our doors in 2008, we have relied on our users and early adopters for feedback, which has heavily influenced the way we’ve grown. In the early days, David would email anyone who signed up with Expensify asking for comments, suggestions, and feedback — both positive and negative — and that has allowed us to develop a very loyal base early on. Thanks to the early feedback, we were able to create an employee-driven, bottom-up business model that provides easy-to-use software for the employee while still providing all the features needed by the CTO.

We love our users, and not just because they drive our growth. More than that, we love that we’re solving a real-world problem that almost everyone has experienced before. From startups to nonprofits to well-established companies, our users come to us from a range of backgrounds with a range of missions, all for one purpose: to find an expense reporting process that doesn’t suck! Through thick and thin, you’ve stuck with us this far and we can’t wait to start the new year with you again.

As a thank you to our wonderful, growing user base, we’ve been working hard to show them off to our community. Since October, we’ve been showcasing cool companies through our Expensifier of the Week blog series, such as Camp Kesem, Couchsurfing, Chubbies, and 5Napkin Burger. This initiative will only grow in 2015 because there are just so many of you guys out there that it would take quite some time for us to run through you all. That’s okay though, it’s how we like it!

Just a snippet of you wonderful people!

Our designer Shawn Borton has also revamped our customers page, which now features testimonials and case studies from some of our major crushes such as Quirky, Spiceworks, and QBOPro. We’re so excited to be spread across a number of industries, geographic locations, and more — it’s a testament to how much expense reports SUCKED before we came on the scene.

So here it is, thank you ALL for sticking with us through the rain and sunshine, and here’s to a fantastic 2015 together — don’t worry, we have lots of great new features and improvements in store for you still to come!

As always, if you have something that you’re just dying to share with us, tweet us at @expensify or email us at help@expensify.com. Happy New Year!
