Offline receipt capture and storage for the Android
Poor signal where you are traveling? Data plan too expensive abroad? No worries! Get the latest update to our Android app which adds an outbox queue for all receipts uploaded when there is no data connection.
If there is a data connection or wifi when the next receipt image is taken, all of the queued receipts will also be uploaded with it. Alternatively, if you just came back from a trip or are sitting in a place with free wifi, open up the outbox and click send to upload the entire queue to your account.

This is cool. But the latest version for Blackberry doesn’t work unfortunately (it always says I don’t have internet connection when all the other apps connect to the net just fine). Please help!! This used to be one of my most used apps for BB.

Any updates on the fix for the blackberry? I have 33 items in my outbox and I’ve tried wifi and cel data and neither one will work to push the expenses and receipts up to the server. I keep getting ‘Oops, temporarily unable to send, will try again soon.’ I just upgraded to 2.4.1 and it doesn’t seem to help.

Hi Rob, sorry for the delay; can you write tjacobs@expensify.com for the latest status? BB networking is notoriously tricky, especially for image uploads. But we’re steadily knocking down bugs and releasing rapidly — if it’s not solved yet, please let us know, as we’re working feverishly on it and can use all the testers we can get. We have apps available on the BlackBerry, iPhone and even Palm WebOS. Just search for “expensify” in each of the respective app stores to find us.

Hi,
Whenever I try the outbox (off line mode selected) feature and want to log off I seem to lose my receipts , am I doing something wrong or is this a bug?
About free scans? I never seem to havethe allotted qty. is it because its under the “premium” plan

Daniel: Ah, yes, typically users only “sign out” of the application if they want to sign in as someone else. If you’re not switching users, there’s no need to sign out: just close the app and all the receipts will still be there the next time it opens. As for free scans, everything should be 100% unlimited now for all plans — no allotted quantity is needed. Thanks!
