3) Don't forget to R.A.P.

Record. All. Pitches.

Have each pitching team member put an inexpensive audio recording device and an (Olympus ME-15 + VN 6200PC = ~$70 on Amazon) on their shirt lapels. Make sure that you capture this and play back later for review and for training purposes. You'd be surprised how far saying a name correctly can go towards future business.

Disclaimer: Work it into your pitch that you are recording... be clever or say "this pitch may be recorded for quality assurance and training purposes"

Ryan, I totally agree: don't let the lack of a dedicated table stop you. The tablet/EVDO combination is a great idea. Indeed, if you must be online, I suggest practicing with and hosting off an EVDO connection (I use Sprint Wireless Broadband, but the Verizon service is also good) rather than counting on the local connection.

Great breakdown DB! I was there with the Expensify guys, and I would say that the demopit was possibly AS VALUABLE as being on stage. Stage only lasts a few minutes, the demo pit is all day, and in our case, we were able to get 2 days of demopit action.

Ignore David's advice at your own peril.
